报告摘要:
Auction theory is among the most influential and widely studied topics in economics and management. It provides the
micro-foundation of markets. Through well designed auctions, resources can be efficiently allocated to their users.
In this talk, different types of auctions, especially combinatorial auctions and multi-attribute auctions, will be introduced,
key issues for mechanism design of an auction will be addressed, and applications of multi-attribute auctions to project
contracting will be reviewed. This talk will be concluded by a discussion on research opportunities on the application of
auctions to project contracting.
