Several leading companies have realized the importanceof sustainable quality supply and have initiated programs to achieve it. Thistalk takes a theoretical approach to design a dynamic mechanism with the sameobjective under the same challenges. We present a stylized multi-period,two-party supply chain model with double-sided asymmetric information and adynamically changing environment and find properties that are necessary toensure sustainable quality supply: voluntary participation, budget balancing,truthful reporting of private information about cost and demand.
